Years ago, in my early twenties ( I am 74 now) I had polio and fortunately made a good recovery. Then suddenly at age 60 I had a loss of strength in my hands. Gradually I moved up the hierarchy of neurological diagnosis in St. Louis to a definitive diagnosis that I was suffering from “old polio”. The hand-working, surviving neurons were just getting tired. What to do? “Live with it” was the answer – the answer I became more and more accustomed to as I got older, excellent diagnosis with little to offer as treatment.
I found my way to Dr. Frisch without having any idea what he did, really, except to give me the deep feeling that we had become friends. Probably, he conveys that feeling to all his patients.
Amidst an array of laying on of hands, small machinery, and a mixture of powerfully named supplements, I became steadily stronger and my feelings of friendship did, too.
Whenever I am in trouble, I come back.
